We are thrilled to announce that our recent Ofsted inspection in 2023 has resulted in an overall ‘Good’ grading , with our Sixth Form earning an ‘Outstanding’ grading, of which we are very proud. At Cedars, we have a strong reputation as a popular and high-performing school. Our achievements were further highlighted by the excellent set of results our students attained in both GCSE and A-Level examinations in summer 2022. A large number of our sixth form students move onto Russell group Universities where they continue to flourish. 

Currently, we are seeking an exceptional Senior Science Laboratory Technician to join our school. Committed and inspirational individuals, with a passion to deliver outstanding service are invited to apply for the Senior Science Laboratory Technician post providing support to the preparation of practical lessons in Vocational Science and A level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Oversee the daily operations of the science laboratory

- Conduct experiments and analyse results

- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning

- Assist with training junior laboratory staff

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
