About this Role

Are you ready to make a real difference in children's lives and be part of a supportive, ambitious school community? Northumberland Heath Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated EYFS/KS1 Teacher to join our friendly and hardworking team.

At Northumberland Heath Primary School, we are proud of our inclusive and diverse community. We celebrate the unique strengths and backgrounds of our pupils, families and staff, and are committed to ensuring that every member of our school community is valued, respected and given the opportunity to thrive. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.

As an EYFS/KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping children's earliest experiences of education and helping them develop the skills, confidence and curiosity they need to succeed. You will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. Every day brings opportunities to spark imagination, develop independence and celebrate those important milestones as children grow academically, socially and emotionally.

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Is passionate about early years and primary education and understands the importance of giving children the very best start to their learning journey
• Creates an engaging, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where all children can thrive
• Delivers high-quality teaching through a balance of play, exploration and purposeful learning experiences
• Has high expectations and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
• Understands the importance of supporting children's academic, social and emotional development
• Works collaboratively as part of a team and contributes positively to the wider life of the school
• Is committed to their own professional development and continuous improvement

In return, we can offer enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils, a welcoming and supportive staff team, a strong commitment to staff wellbeing, and opportunities for professional growth and development within a forward-thinking school.
