  • To supervise sixth formers during private study periods to ensure a calm, purposeful working atmosphere.
  • To report to the Headteacher or lead duty member of the Senior Leadership team for that day any serious incident occurring during the midday break and complete any necessary paperwork.
  • To be firm, fair and consistent in any contact with pupils in order to achieve the level of discipline required to maintain order.
  • To be aware of, and comply with, relevant legislation and codes of practice, particularly the Health and Safety at Work Act and the Trust’s Child Protection and Safeguarding policy.
  • To assist in such duties and activities relating to the general administration and control of the school as the Governors and the Head Teacher shall from time to time reasonably require.
