At Ormiston Horizon Academy, we are seeking a Lead Teacher of Science to lead and develop high-quality teaching and learning within their subject area. The Lead Teacher plays a crucial role in achieving this vision by leading and developing high-quality teaching and learning both within their subject area and as a key member of the Academy’s leadership team. You will support the Vice Principal and the Quality of Education Team in ensuring that the Academy’s aspirations and strategic goals are met. In addition to delivering outstanding classroom practice, you will actively contribute to staff development, curriculum innovation, and whole-school improvement initiatives.
Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with colleagues within the Academy and across the Ormiston Academies Trust to share best practices, drive strategic developments, and lead cross-school initiatives.
