37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:00pm and 8.15am to 3.45pm Friday, term
time only (39 Weeks). Grade D – Step 1 FTE £25,628, Actual Annual Salary £21,981.00.
We are part of the
Wildern Academy Trust which comprises of Wildern School, Deer Park Secondary

We are looking to appoint a
dynamic, caring and supportive professional who will oversee the day to day
operational running of the safeguarding systems and procedures here at school.
We take safeguarding extremely
seriously and have a really inclusive whole school approach to safeguarding our
entire community. This role will see the right person liaising with the pastoral teams, teaching staff and wider
community to ensure all of our students are cared for under the direct
leadership of the Deputy Headteacher and Designated Safeguard Lead (DSL).
The person we are looking for
will have an awareness of safeguarding roles and responsibilities, be up to
date and informed of local and national safeguarding developments, have working
knowledge of KCSIE and Working Together to Safeguard Children and other
national documentation relevant to the safeguarding of school children. They will be able to liaise with outside
agencies to report, monitor and work alongside our families.
