Start date: September 2026, for an initial one-year fixed term appointment until August 2027 

 We are looking to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Art to join our highly successful Visual Arts Faculty. Our Visual Arts results and engagement at GCSE and A level are outstanding and standards of behaviour are exceptional. At both KS4 and KS5, we offer Fine Art, Photography and Textiles and there is the opportunity to teach these subjects according to your specialism. Our very large sixth form offers the opportunity to teach at KS5. Art is located in a specialised teaching block with extensive resources including interactive screens. We are seeking to recruit a specialist teacher to join our dedicated teaching team and would welcome applications from Fine Art, Photography or Textiles practitioners. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our wonderful Visual Arts team and our high performing school. Sandringham School is part of the Ambition Education Trust (AET). The Ambition Education Trust (AET) consists of ten schools in Hertfordshire; three primary, one nursery and infants’, one juniors and five secondary. Our Trust launched in September 2024 following the amalgamation of two established Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), Alban Academies Trust and ATLAS Multi Academy Trust. As a member of the AET, we are able to maximise opportunities for rewarding careers and opportunities for personal and professional development throughout our wider organisation. Sandringham School also leads the Alban Teaching School Hub.  

Ambition Education Trust (AET) provides an enhanced induction programme for all of their Early Career Teachers (ECTs) during July which attracts an attendance payment in July and August.
