The post is available from September 2026 on a permanent, full time basis. You will be joining KNGS at an exciting point in its journey. KNGS became a founding member of the West Midlands Academy Trust (WMAT) in January 2025. The formation of WMAT has been a very positive move for the continued development of the school. The post has arisen due to the internal promotion of the current postholder.

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Headteacher for
Inclusion to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal role for an
ambitious, values-driven leader who is passionate about removing barriers to
learning and securing outstanding outcomes for all students, particularly those
who are disadvantaged, vulnerable, or have additional needs.
This role includes responsibility as the named SENDCo,
with strategic oversight of SEND, disadvantage, and inclusion across the
school. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping
whole-school practice, ensuring that inclusion is not an add‑on but fully
embedded in our curriculum, culture, and systems. The successful candidate will
not necessarily hold the NASENCO qualification
but must have the willingness to complete this in post.
