We are looking to appoint an experienced catering assistant to join our established, friendly and successful team. The post is permanent and you will be required to work 25 hours per week between the hours of 10am to 3pm, term time and training days.
Having achieved a 2022 Ofsted grading of ‘good’ overall,
with personal development, leadership and management being recognised as
‘outstanding,’ we are determined not to be complacent and want to achieve even
more for our students and staff. Our motto is ‘Engaging Minds, Nurturing
Success and Inspiring Futures,’ and the school seeks to achieve this in many
different ways.
Our February 2022 Ofsted report begins with the following
paragraph: “Pupils are proud of their school. They enthuse about it to their
parents, who know that they feel safe and happy. Pupils have many subjects to
choose from, so everyone gets a chance to shine. They know that leaders have
very high expectations of what they can achieve.”
We were delighted that our 2023 GCSE results confirmed we are in the top 2% of schools in the country for progress of pupils between ages 11 and 16, and that our 2024 GCSE results were also very strong. .
What can we offer you?
·
Full support from a dedicated team of senior
leaders
· Robust behaviour system
·
A range of staff benefits including a cash
health plan and access to a cycle to work scheme
The school’s successes are well documented and more information about these can be found on our website Home | Goldington Academy but we believe that it is most impressive when seen in action. We welcome enquiries and visits prior to application, so please get in touch with Karen Chisnall chisnallk@goldington.beds.sch.uk for more information.
