£16.87 per hour plus holiday pay
Normal hours of work will be 1 hour and 10 minutes per day, from 12.05pm to 13.15pm
Monday to Friday, term time only

- To provide a welcoming, safe and positive environment for students during the lunchtime break.
- To encourage positive behaviour, respectful interactions and good manners, helping students to enjoy a calm and inclusive lunchtime experience.

MAIN DUTIES:
- To supervise students on the school premises during the lunchtime break, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
- To promote a friendly and supportive atmosphere by engaging positively with students, encouraging respectful behaviour and modelling the school's values.
- To encourage students to follow routines and expectations, including queuing sensibly, respecting others and taking responsibility for their conduct.
- To provide guidance and routine advice to students, helping them to resolve minor issues and make positive choices.
- To maintain the safety, welfare and good conduct of students during the lunchtime period.
- To be responsible for the safe return of all students to the care of teaching staff at the end of the lunch break.
- To intervene calmly and appropriately where students are not following expectations, including reminding students about queuing, consideration for others and school routines.
- To liaise with Pastoral Managers and Heads of Year where more significant concerns arise or where additional support is required.
- To alert the Team Leader to any concerns regarding an individual student or group of students, particularly where wellbeing or safeguarding may be an issue.
- To take the lead in dealing with minor accidents and report any serious incident to the Team Leader at the earliest opportunity.
- To understand and apply school policies relating to health and safety, safeguarding, student welfare and behaviour.
- To administer basic first aid (if trained to do so) as required.
- To attend relevant training and meetings as required.
- To read and keep up to date with communications and information provided by the Team Leader.
- To respect confidentiality at all times.
