Westcliff High School for Girls is a selective girls’ grammar school located in one of the neighbouring suburbs of Southend.  Heavily oversubscribed, students enter the school aged 11 having passed an examination administered by the Consortium of Selective Schools in Essex (CSSE).

Students at the school are ambitious, talented and inquisitive learners who thrive in fast-paced lessons delivered by practitioners who inspire and motivate. We are therefore seeking candidates who share in our passion to deliver high quality lessons.

WHSG is proud to be part of the South East Essex Academy Trust (SEEAT) as this provides a range of opportunities for staff to collaborate with colleagues from schools across the SEEAT network enabling staff and students alike to achieve at the highest level.
