About this Role

Oakgrove School is looking for an outstanding Teacher of Science to join our department from September 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality Science teaching at KS3 and KS4, with the capability to teach at least one discipline at KS5. At KS4, we offer Synergy, Trilogy, and Triple Science pathways, while at KS5 we provide A Level courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Applications are welcomed from all three specialisms, although a background in Biology would be particularly advantageous.

Oakgrove has a reputation for achieving the highest results, for attainment and progress, in Milton Keynes for both KS4 and KS5 and we are very proud of the successes of our students. The behaviour of our students has been described as exemplary. We have a history of achieving exceptional results and destinations for our students. The staff team at Oakgrove is highly dedicated and supportive and we welcome new staff who share our ethos. We are the hub school for MK:NPQ, offering a full suite of high quality, nationally recognised CPD.
