Join us at an exciting time for culture and inclusion at Bodmin College

At Bodmin College, our mission is "to provide a great quality of education so that every child can live a life full of choice and boundless opportunities."

We believe that exceptional schools are built upon exceptional culture. When students feel safe, valued, supported and held to the highest expectations, they flourish. They attend more regularly, engage more positively, achieve more highly and develop the character needed to succeed beyond school.

At Bodmin College, we recognise that culture is not something that happens by chance. It is built deliberately through strong relationships, consistent expectations and adults who refuse to accept anything less than the very best for every child.

Over the last two years, we have worked relentlessly to strengthen our culture and establish the conditions for great teaching and learning. As a result, we have seen significant improvements in attendance, behaviour and student outcomes. However, we know that sustaining and strengthening culture requires continual investment, relentless consistency and exceptional people.

We are seeking a highly motivated, resilient and compassionate Behaviour Intervention Lead to join our growing Behaviour Team and play a key role in shaping the next stage of our journey.

This is a unique opportunity for an individual who is passionate about changing lives through education and who believes that every young person can succeed when given the right support, challenge and guidance.

In the last 12 months we have:

·       Improved A8 outcomes to be in line with national standards, moving from 27th to 11th in Cornwall.

·       Become a top 10 school nationally for improvement in English A8.

·       Reduced fixed-term suspensions by 68%.

·       Improved attendance by 3.61%.

·       Been recognised as a high-performing school amongst similar schools nationally.

Most importantly, we have incredible students who deserve exceptional adults working relentlessly on their behalf every day.
