The role
- Teaching at all levels within a dynamic, energetic department
- Planning and preparing lessons to reflect individual needs of students
- Regular assessment of students in line with departmental and school policies
- Fulfilment of tasks as set by the Head of Department
- Participation in meetings with colleagues, parents and students relating to the responsibilities listed above
- To discharge a duty of care to all students in the school.
- To be aware of, and operate within, all policies relating to student welfare and guidance, especially in the area of Child Protection.
The ideal candidate
- Honours degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience teaching A-Level is desirable
- Applications are equally welcome from experienced or newly-qualified teachers.
- The candidate will take responsibility for wider school initiatives for the department eg Alan Senitt, Drop Down PRE Days etc.
