From its origins as a charity school founded by Dame Elizabeth Fuller in 1704, Watford Grammar School for Boys moved to its present site in 1912 and became an Academy in 2010. Located near the centre of Watford and next to Cassiobury Park, it comprises of a Grade II listed main building, The Clarendon Muse, The James Theatre, a dedicated STEM Centre and extensive sports facilities.

Watford Grammar School for Boys has over 1600 students, including over 400 in the sixth form. Our aim is to provide an education of the highest quality to meet the individual and collective needs and aspirations for every student, guided by our school values of Endeavour and Excellence, Integrity and Kindness, and Creativity and Individuality.
