The Role
• Planning, preparing and teaching lessons, mainly at KS3, within the department, to reflect individual student needs.
• Reviewing teaching strategies in light of individual’s progress and carrying out assessments.
• Discharging a duty of care to all students in the school and carrying out supervisory duties as reasonably directed.
• Taking a pastoral responsibility for students, including monitoring their academic and social progress, writing all reasonably requested reports and working effectively, as appropriate, with Heads of Year and the SENCO.
• To be aware of, and operate within, all policies relating to student welfare and guidance, especially in the area of Child Protection.
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified and Enthusiastic PRE specialist with the ability to teach at all levels. Applications are equally welcome from experienced or newly-qualified teachers.

For a successful candidate with PGCE credits, we are able to support the completion of an MA. Accommodation at a very competitive rate may be available.
