About this Role

You will join our HR Operations Team within a very diverse and exciting role where you will be developed to undertake a variety of duties and be responsible for all HR matters within the school. This role also is perfect for someone with line management experience or with the right career skills and experience to step into the world of line management, as it is directly responsible for managing the administration and reception team.

You will work closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team ensuring full and comprehensive HR support. In addition, you will have full support from your designated HR Partner and will contribute to wider sector discussions through regular meetings with the entire HR Trust Team including the opportunity to be involved with various projects.

You must have a passion for HR and be self-motivated as well as possess, or be keen to develop, strong people skills and have the resilience to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You must be confident to manage conflicting priorities with a professional approach in working with all stakeholders. You will lead the HR function within the school and must enjoy contributing to and working as part of a bigger team.

We endeavour to support your HR professionalism and would support you in undertaking appropriate CIPD training.

  • A strong support network both within the school and across Ambitions Academies Trust.
  • All staff are part of a professional learning community in which evidence-informed CPD is designed to meet individual needs.
  • Strong potential for career progression.
  • A culture that respects work-life balance and an ongoing commitment to wellbeing with a dedicated Wellbeing Champion.
  • An Employee Assistance Programme including in the moment support and counselling sessions with an external provider.
  • AAT Staff benefits include free eye testing for DSE users through Specsavers, free will writing through Dunham McCarthy Solicitors and reduced price corporate gym membership through BH Live.
