We are looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Receptionist & Administrator to be the welcoming face of The Oldham Academy North, supporting staff, students and families while ensuring the smooth, efficient and professional running of our busy front office. 

Key responsibilities: 

    • Welcome visitors and support the smooth running of reception as part of a team
    • Handle phone calls, emails and enquiries efficiently
    • Maintain accurate records and administrative systems
    • Support safeguarding and attendance procedures
    • Provide general administrative support to staff and leadership
    • Contribute to a professional, organised front office environment 
  • Pay range: SCP 4-6, - £22,150.90 - £22,858.04  - FTE: £25,185.00 - £25,989.00 - 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Fixed Term Contract - 12 months 

    Qualifications and Skills: 

    • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
    • Previous experience in an administrative or customer-facing role
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
    • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage priorities calmly
