Make a difference at Oldham E-ACT Academy North as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Personal Care). Support pupils with complex needs, deliver targeted interventions, and play a key role in assessment, tracking, and statutory processes. Join a committed team where your care, skill, and dedication help every pupil achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Work under the direction of the class teacher to support pupils’ learning. 
  • Run structured intervention programmes for identified pupils. 
  • Assist in the implementation of EHCPs  
  • Provide personal care where required (toileting, feeding, hygiene). 
  • Deliver specialist interventions as trained (sensory circuits, SLCN programmes). 

Pay range: SCP 6-12 -  £20,078.01 - £22,093.61 - FTE: £25,989.00 - £28,598.00 - Permanent, starting September 2026, 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • GCSE Maths and English minimum grade C or equivalent
  • TA3 qualification or relevant experience 
  • Knowledge and understanding of how children learn and how to motivate them  
  • Ability to work with an individual child or with a group 
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders using a variety of methods
