We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic &
forward-thinking IT enthusiast to join our dedicated team. The postholder will
be responsible to our Lead IT Technician and will provide technical and
operational support, guidance and supervision. They will ensure effective
day-to-day delivery of IT services for all users, enhancing teaching &
learning and academy operations.
This position would suit an individual who is
supportive and enjoys the challenge of a busy and varied role. The successful
candidate will have excellent customer service and organisational skills and be
flexible in their approach.
This is a full time, all year-round role, fixed term for the period of the apprenticeship programme, with
the opportunity to achieve a recognised qualification and on the job training.

Ormiston Sandwell Community
Academy (OSCA) is located in the Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell, and in very
close proximity to the centre of Birmingham. It is a slightly larger than
average, 11–16 co-educational academy with approximately 1,200 students. It
has grown over the last few years and is now full and oversubscribed in every
year group for the seventh consecutive year. The academy’s reputation
locally is excellent. OSCA was graded as a good academy, for the third
time in 2023.
The academy has been recognised
with a myriad of awards over recent years. These include the Investors In
