About Ormiston Sandwell Community Academy

OSCA is a good academy, with a history of fantastic improvement and achievement.

As the new principal of OSCA I am eager to ensure that OSCA continues to provide excellence for all of its students. 

After working at OSCA for the last 7 years as a Vice Principal and Associate Principal I have seen first hand the development the academy has undertaken and the hard work of both staff and students in ensuring OSCA is the great environment it is today. 

At the heart of OSCA lie our key values of:

This is also reflected in the academy’s vision, which is to transform lives and help shape dreams. 

In ensuring we achieve these goals and live these values we must have high standards and expectations of each other all day, every day. 

We have high aspirations as an academy and of each and every youngster we serve. 

At OSCA we provide a range of opportunities from university trips to after school sports activities. We have a broad and balanced curriculum which enables students to achieve their best and move on to further and/or higher education. We teach and expect tolerance, respect, and kindness from everyone through our assembly and learning for success program, as well as through charity and community work. We have high aspirations as an academy and of each and every youngster we serve. 

As Principal I am proud of the current achievements of OSCA and of all the staff and students here.  I am determined, even in the most difficult of times, to continue ensuring that our Team OSCA spirit and key values lead us all to even greater success in the future.
