Overview
Wellington Academy and Primaries
are looking to appoint a highly organised and self-motivated Clerk to the
governors. The Clerk is accountable to the governing body, working effectively
with the Chair of Governors, and with the Head Teacher and Head of Governance
and Compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
The clerk to the governors will
ensure the smooth running of the governing body; preparing agendas and meeting
papers, taking and distributing minutes, giving administrative support, keeping
records, providing up to date information on policies and date of reviews, and
providing procedural and legislative advice to the governing body. They must
have excellent organizational, communication and ICT skills.
The schools are looking to
appoint an individual who will be committed to help us build on our
achievements and to provide the best education for the pupils it serves.

The Wellington Academy opened
in 2009 and, is an ambitious, forward thinking 11-18 Academy situated in a
beautiful location of Tidworth, which is on the outskirts of Salisbury in
Wiltshire.

ensuring every pupil is exposed to the widest range of subjects possible to
equip them to leave school ready to achieve their dreams and fulfil their
goals.

Tidworth and caters for pupils from Reception through to Year 6.
