George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18
academy, serving a multi-cultural community and we are seeking to appoint an
inspiring and ambitious Head of History to join us from September 2026/January
2027.
The successful candidate will combine strong subject
expertise with the ability to motivate pupils and staff, ensuring that all
students develop a deep understanding of the past and the critical skills
needed to succeed both academically and as informed citizens. This would
be an excellent opportunity for an experienced History teacher looking to
further their career.
