Why choose us?
State of the art facilities
We are proud members of the Salford community,
constantly striving to be the best and bringing out the best in everyone.
Tolerance, mutual respect, honesty, and co-operation are fostered in line with
our Culture of Excellence. All students and staff strive for excellence and
demonstrate this through our Culture of Excellence values -Responsibility,
Excellence, Aspiration, Commitment and Teamwork. These underpin every aspect of
our curriculum and academy life.
We feel passionately about supporting students to
overcome any barriers to learning and promoting diversity and tolerance across
the academy. We have an extensive personal development programme ‘Aspire’ which
incorporates all aspects of student’s wider development. ‘Pupils make a valuable contribution to
the life of the school. This is particularly evident in the work of the
prefects. Pupils spoke highly of the rewards programme. Disadvantaged pupils,
and those pupils with SEND, engage fully in all aspects of school life.’ Ofsted
2022.
United Learning schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resources, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance. Our approaches within the academy support this so that our main focus can be on planning and delivering high quality teaching and learning. For example, all behaviour and detentions are managed centrally by the Inclusion Team. This allows teachers the time and capacity to deliver high quality lessons and supports their workload and well-being
