At West SILC, you’ll join a passionate,
experienced team who are committed to removing barriers to learning and
empowering every pupil to succeed. We value collaboration, innovation, and
continuous improvement—and we support our staff with high-quality training,
clear communication, and a strong culture of teamwork. We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range
of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and in mainstream
partnership schools.
Whether
you’re solving a technical challenge, setting up equipment for learners or
staff or helping a colleague with their digital tools, your work will have a
direct, meaningful impact every day.
We are looking for an IT Technician who wants to make a difference. Someone who understands that when technology works well, it can transform the learning experience—especially for pupils with additional needs. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our digital systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with the needs of our staff and learners. You’ll be a valued part of a friendly, professional team that supports every aspect of school life, helping our young people achieve their full potential.
We are looking for an organised and efficient individual who works well with a wide range of people, including staff, pupils, and visitors, and who can explain complex concepts in simple terms while making IT accessible and effective for our users.
