1. Describe a PE lesson you have delivered that successfully engaged pupils of varying abilities and needs. What strategies did you use to ensure every pupil could participate and make progress?
2. At Auckland College, we are committed to ensuring every pupil is safe, happy and achieving. How would you promote this ethos through your teaching, behaviour management and relationships with pupils?
3. Safeguarding and pupil welfare are fundamental to our school. Can you describe your responsibilities as a teacher in keeping children safe and explain how you would respond if you had a safeguarding concern about a pupil?
4. Extracurricular sport is an important part of school life. What clubs, teams or sporting events have you led or would you be interested in developing, and how would you encourage high levels of pupil participation?
5. Working in an independent school often requires flexibility and a willingness to contribute beyond the classroom. Can you provide an example of a time you adapted to meet the changing needs of your school or supported colleagues to achieve a shared goal?
