About this Role

St Peter’s School, York, is seeking a catering assistant. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the efficient delivery of a high quality, customer-oriented, food production service, that meets the needs of the students, staff and visitors of the School.
The successful candidate would assist in preparing the kitchen and dining hall for mealtime service including ensuring that adequate supplies of crockery and cutlery are available and in a clean and presentable state throughout service periods. They would also serve food to staff and pupils of the school and liaise with the kitchen to ensure that adequate supplies of all food being served are available throughout the service period.  
Ideally the candidate would hold some experience of working within a similar catering environment, applicants must be capable of working within a team and able to work under pressure
