About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Rugby Coach to join our well-resourced department. The successful candidate will be inspirational in their subject, innovative and show a real desire to motivate pupils of all abilities to realise their full potential. You will have the skills and abilities to engage and enthuse different types of learners and to work productively as part of a whole school team.

We are open to full-time and part-time applicants. This will enable the post holder to work this position around any playing commitments or contracts that they may have.

At Langley, we see it as our mission to foster a genuine and lasting love of Rugby through exciting, well-planned and engaging lessons in which pupils are challenged and encouraged to learn from their mistakes. Langley is very fortunate to have extensive grounds, floodlit Astro pitches nearby, Sports Hall and hard courts. Matches and fixtures, locally regionally and nationally are a very important part of the Games Department’s offer; we participate at a local, regional and national level in a variety of sports. Teams from all year groups, in all our core sports (Rugby, Netball, Hockey, Football, Cricket) compete on a regular basis. The PE teaching team works very closely with our highly experienced Sports Coaches and the Langley Football Academy.

Langley is a truly special place to work. With dedicated colleagues, a supportive parent body, and curious, motivated pupils, our school community is both stimulating and welcoming. We take great pride in our sense of family and the strong sense of belonging that unites us.
