About this role
Are you compassionate, patient and motivated to make a real
difference for our students? We are
seeking a dedicated One-to-One Student Support Assistant to provide personalised
support for students requiring additional assistance during the school day. This is a rewarding role offering the
opportunity to work closely with students to help them reach their potential
academically, socially and personally while supporting their independence and
wellbeing.
What you will do:
- Support the
student’s learning, communication, personal care and development in line
with their care plans.
- Safely
manage students requiring medical or physical support and assist with
medication, gastro feeds and health needs, as required (full training
provided).
- Enable
students to join in activities and develop life skills.
- Communicate
effectively with staff, students and parents to ensure high standards of
care.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Physically
capable of supporting students with disabilities and personal care needs.
- Patient,
resilient, flexible and positive.
- Committed
to professional development, including completing the Level 3 Diploma in
Residential Childcare, if applicable
- Excellent
communication and teamwork skills, with strong safeguarding awareness
- Willing
to follow procedures, maintain safety and uphold fundamental British
values.
Desirable: Experience in school or residential settings,
GCSEs in English/Maths, Level 3 Diploma and knowledge of SEND.

On-site overnight staff accommodation is available for those
working a 10pm late shift followed by a 7am early shift
