Valence School – A Unique Place to Learn and Work
Valence School is a specialist day and residential school
for children and young people aged 4 to 19 with physical disabilities and
complex medical needs. As a unique setting within the maintained sector in
southern England, we are proud of the exceptional support we provide—enabling
our students to learn, grow, and achieve meaningful independence.
Located in beautiful grounds near Westerham, our spacious
and well-equipped campus is home to a multidisciplinary team of over 200
dedicated professionals. We deliver high-quality teaching, nursing, therapy,
and social care, ensuring that each student receives personalised support that
meets their educational, medical, and emotional needs.
Our students flourish in a nurturing yet aspirational
environment. They make strong educational progress, achieve a range of
accredited qualifications, and develop vital skills for communication,
mobility, and daily living. Our overarching goal is to empower every young
person to live as independently and confidently as possible.
