About this Role

We are a three-form entry junior school with a strong community ethos, where children are known well and relationships matter. We place equal importance on academic achievement, personal development and wellbeing, and our work is underpinned by the principles of The Leader in Me.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a main class, delivering high-quality teaching and learning while contributing positively to the wider life of the school. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils with a wide range of needs and help create a calm, purposeful learning environment.

We have a higher-than-average number of pupils with EHCPs and pride ourselves on inclusive practice. This role would suit a teacher who is confident, adaptable and committed to meeting the needs of all learners.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • is an enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner

  • has high expectations for pupil achievement, behaviour and wellbeing

  • is committed to inclusive education and working with pupils with additional needs

  • values teamwork, professional dialogue and continuous improvement

  • is willing to contribute positively to the wider school community

Applications are welcome from ECTs and experienced teachers. Support and mentoring will be tailored to experience and career stage.

We Can Offer:

  • a supportive, collaborative staff team

  • a strong focus on professional development and wellbeing

  • opportunities for leadership development and progression

  • engaged, articulate pupils who are eager to learn

  • a school culture built on trust, respect and shared responsibility

Visits and Applications

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit or to discuss the role further.
