Giles Junior School is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Sports Coach / Specialist P.E. Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our experienced P.E. Lead and play a key role in delivering high-quality physical education and sporting opportunities across our thriving junior school.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality P.E. lessons across Key Stage 2 (ages 7–11), covering teachers' PPA time, alongside leading lunchtime and after-school clubs, supporting inter-school competitions and helping to organise sporting events throughout the year.

A recognised sports coaching or physical education qualification.
Experience working with children aged 7–11 (school experience desirable but not essential).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for encouraging participation and developing children's confidence through sport.
Good knowledge of the National Curriculum for Physical Education.
High expectations of behaviour and achievement.
The enthusiasm to contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, competitions and sporting events.
