Specialist Teaching Assistant-Access Arrangements
1 Year fixed term contract until August 2025
30 hours per week, Term time only plus 1 day training
Working hours Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 8.40am-3.35pm, Tuesday 8.50am – 3.35pm & Friday 8.40am-2.30pm

The current vacancy is to support within
our large special educational needs department working with a variety of pupils
with additional needs including, pupils with
visual impairment, pupils with hearing impairment and pupils on the autistic
spectrum and their needs within the classroom.
The person appointed will support the SENDcO and Examination Officers in
arranging, administering and timetabling Access Arrangements of public and
internal examinations. This position will work with the SENDCo, Examination
Officers, members of the Leadership Group, Heads of Departments, teachers and
support staff.
The desirable candidate will ideally have experience in these
specialist areas, in particular working with young people aged between 11-19
years old, however training will be given.
