About this Role

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join The Glade — our specialist provision within a mainstream setting for children with complex SEND needs.

The Glade is a nurturing, highly inclusive environment where pupils thrive through personalised support, strong relationships and a team who genuinely believe in transforming life chances. If you are resilient, patient and able to bring positivity into even the trickiest moments, you will fit right in.

About the Role

As an LSA in The Glade, you will:

  • Support pupils with a range of complex SEND needs, helping them access learning and develop independence.

  • Work closely with teachers, LSAs and external professionals to deliver high-quality provision.

  • Build trusting relationships with children, using calm, consistent approaches.

  • Contribute to a safe, joyful and structured environment where every child feels seen, valued and supported.

  • Assist with personalised interventions, communication support, sensory regulation and behaviour strategies.

  • Celebrate small wins, champion pupil voice and model optimism every day.

What We’re Looking For

  • Resilience - you stay steady, solution-focused and kind under pressure.

  • Patience - you understand that progress looks different for every child.

  • Optimism - you bring hope, humour and encouragement into daily routines.

  • Experience with SEND (ideal but not essential) - especially with communication needs, sensory profiles or SEMH.

  • A commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.

  • A team player who values collaboration, reflection and continuous learning.

Why Join The Glade?

  • A warm, supportive team who genuinely care about each other.

  • A leadership culture that values professional growth and wellbeing.

  • Opportunities for CPD in SEND, communication strategies, behaviour support and therapeutic approaches.

  • The chance to make a profound difference in children’s lives — every single day

Please call for more details. Visits are warmly welcomed
