About this Role

Putteridge Primary School is keen to recruit a Cleaner to join our highly effective team.

The Cleaning Operative will be employed to assist in the cleaning of the school helping to maintain a healthy and safe environment at all times.

The post will be for 15 hours per week and your contract will be for 52 weeks per year.  You will receive 24 days paid holiday per year.  Hours of work will be between 15.30 to 18.30 per day,  Monday to Friday.  These working hours may change when required to clean during school holidays (7.00 am start).

You will need to:

  • Have the ability to work effectively as a member of a team and be able to understand and follow instructions
  • Have demonstrable knowledge of high standards of cleanliness
  • Be friendly, caring and hardworking
  • Be able to use own initiative to react to ever changing situations
