About this Role
As a result of the rapidly
expanding numbers The Governors of Parklea Primary School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant 1 to compliment our team.
The role will be a fixed term contract while supporting a child for 39 weeks per year (includes 5 training days), 30 hours per week.
We have high expectation of all our staff,
successful candidates will:

Provide support in
the classroom to individuals/groups of pupils as directed by the class
teacher/line manager
·
Support pupils in
social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate
·
The ability to
respond calmly and constructively when dealing with students with SEN.
· Contribute to the
health and safety of all pupils which will include first aid and intimate care.
Appropriate training will be provided.
·
Carry out a
lunchtime duty as part of their role.
·
Have the necessary skills and knowledge to work across
the school from Reception to Year 6.
·
Have basic maths and English knowledge, in order to be
able to provide the appropriate level of support to our pupils.
·
Complete first aid
training
