 About our school

Denbigh is a successful, community-centred primary school with a track-record for providing outstanding support and career development opportunities. We take pride in the breadth and quality of our curriculum provision: valuing sports, science, the arts and cultural development alongside English and Mathematics.  Our school is a hub of innovative and creative learning; and we widely encourage a cooperative learning philosophy.

 The successful candidate will:

Be an outstanding practitioner with demonstrable leadership experience in an appropriate school or setting.

  • Be an outstanding teacher who is able to motivate and empower staff and pupils.
  • Have a successful track record in achieving whole school excellence in attainment and progress.
  • Engage positively with children, staff, parents, governors, and the community.
  • Prioritise the wellbeing, resilience and achievements of all children and staff and put this at the heart of all decisions.
  • Be prepared to provide challenge to established ways of working and demonstrate vision and agility in decision-making.

 We are proud to offer:

  • An ambitious leadership team and governing body, committed to staff professional learning.
  • Dedicated, professional and determined staff.
  • Highly motivated, happy children, keen to learn and develop.
  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing.
  • Excellent resources and vibrant teaching spaces.

Potential candidates are invited to contact the Business Manager, on 01582 571597, to discuss the post and to arrange a visit to the school.  This does not form part of the recruitment process.
