About this Role

Bordesley Green East Nursery School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Nursery Officer to join our team and help secure outstanding outcomes for all our pupils. This is a fixed-term role.

At Bordesley Green East, we take pride in our creative and holistic approach to early education. Our practice empowers children to make their own choices, nurtures independence and self-motivation, and places children at the heart of a high-quality, play-based curriculum.

About Us

The Nursery School is funded by the Local Authority and has a fully delegated budget. We are one of 27 Birmingham Local Authority Maintained Nursery Schools that promote quality and excellence for our youngest children in Birmingham.

We provide high-quality nursery education for 120 children, offering places to 2-, 3- and 4-year-olds.

Our Community

Our nursery is culturally rich and diverse, with many languages spoken by our children and families. We have a strong reputation for supporting children with complex special educational needs and disabilities, as well as families who may be experiencing additional challenges.

Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be subject to suitability checks including identity, qualification and employment history checks, and two professional references.

Who We Are Looking For

Early Years education continues to evolve, and we are looking for a practitioner who is:

  • passionate about early childhood education
  • flexible and resilient
  • committed to inclusive practice
  • able to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team

If you are ready to make a positive impact in a nurturing and dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
