We are seeking a dedicated, resilient, and compassionate English teacher to join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), a small and supportive setting for pupils aged 11–16. Our provision supports young people who require an alternative to mainstream education, often due to social, emotional, or behavioural needs. This full-time role involves teaching English up to GCSE level for students aged 11–16, many of whom have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs or SEND. The successful candidate will play a key role in raising attainment and leading subject development across the school.
This role can be challenging, but it is equally rewarding. You will work closely with a small group of pupils, building strong, trusting relationships and making a genuine difference to their academic progress, personal development, and future opportunities.
