Trinity Academy Newcastle Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust which incorporates a Pre-16 Special Converter Academy (Trinity Academy Newcastle), a Post-16 Converter Academy (Trinity Solutions Academy), one private limited company (Trinity Post 16 Solutions Ltd) and more recently a sponsored Academy (Trinity Academy New Bridge).

Trinity Academy Newcastle - Special Academy - educates learners aged 5-16, who have an Education, Health and Care Plan for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Serving a regional wide catchment area.

Trinity Academy New Bridge - Special Academy - educates learners aged 11-16 who have a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education, Health and Care Plan for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Again, serving a regional wide catchment area.

Trinity Solutions Academy – Mainstream - Post 16 Academy provides a vocational study programme for learners aged 16-19 serving a regional wide catchment area.

Trinity Post 16 Solutions Limited - Private limited company - Specialist Post-16 Institution (SPI) offering bespoke educational programmes to 19-25 learners with learning disabilities (LLDD) learners serving a regional wide catchment area.

Trauma-Informed Practice and Holistic Support

Many of our Academies have proudly achieved the TIS UK Trauma Informed Schools Award, reflecting our deep commitment to nurturing the emotional wellbeing of every learner.

As part of our wider offer, we provide a dedicated Sanctuary Provision for up to 20 learners who benefit from personalised, trauma-informed strategies tailored to their individual needs. This safe and supportive environment is designed to foster resilience, emotional regulation, and positive relationships.

All learners have access to our off-site Forest School, where outdoor learning plays a vital role in promoting confidence, teamwork, and a connection with nature — key elements in supporting mental health and personal development.  The Sanctuary Provision have tailored sessions to link with their individual needs.  We also offer a dedicated day to our ASD learners.

All our Academies also have access to our on-site farm (Trinity Academy Newcastle) which offers hands-on experiences that promote responsibility, empathy, and a connection to nature — further enriching our holistic approach to education.
