About The Schelwood Trust
The Schelwood Trust comprises of two secondary schools. Herschel Grammar School, which Ofsted recently rated as outstanding, and Beechwood School.
Whilst the schools themselves are very different, in that one is a selective grammar, and the other a comprehensive secondary school, we work together with a common vision of using the power of education to create real opportunities that can transform lives.
The most important asset of any trust is their dedicated and professional staff. Without our amazing team and the important work they do in working with and caring for our pupils and students we cannot continue to improve and grow.
The Trust has an ambition to grow, adding schools based on our ability to add value by delivering our vision and improving the quality of education that is on offer.
Our board of trustees is strong, diverse and comes from a variety of backgrounds. We are all committed to the success of the Trust by delivering education that enables students to have the best choices for their future and be well prepared for whatever challenges they face.
