Welcome from the CEO
As Chief Executive Officer of TEAM Multi-Academy Trust, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you. Our Trust embodies the ethos of 'Life, Love, and Learning to the Full', guiding our journey towards providing a world-class education that cherishes every child and embraces the rich tapestry of global cultures.
Since our inception in 2012, starting with Pilton Bluecoat Church of England Junior School's transition to academy status, TEAM has evolved significantly. We have welcomed schools such as Brayford Academy, Umberleigh Academy, Witheridge Church of England Academy, High Bickington Church of England Academy, Beaford Community Primary and Nursery School, Pilton Infants,Horwood & Newton Tracey and Swimbridge CofE Primary into our family. Each school maintains its unique identity, enriching our collective with diverse heritages and perspectives.
Our curriculum, underpinned by the pillars of Building Learning Power, Building Futures, Building Communities, and Fostering Self-Esteem/Positive Mental Wellbeing, is designed to empower our pupils. It aims not only to elevate academic aspirations but also to equip our students with the competencies necessary to navigate their futures with confidence. The 'Big Event' curriculum, a cornerstone of our educational approach, offers a broad spectrum of experiences that enhance learning and foster an appreciation for local and global communities.
Our commitment to innovation is mirrored in our international collaborations, such as the Connecting Classrooms projects with the British Council, which have broadened our educational perspectives and fostered global friendships. These partnerships are vital in helping our pupils develop a sense of global stewardship and intercultural understanding.
