About Spa Education Trust

Spa Education Trust is a multi-academy trust with two special schools for autistic pupils. The trust was established in 2018 with the conversion of Spa School Bermondsey, our secondary school for students aged 11-19. Spa School Camberwell, our school for pupils aged 4 to 16, opened in September 2020. Each school provides high quality teaching and learning with a curriculum specifically designed to meet the needs of autistic students. Our vision underpins everything we do as we prepare our children and young people for their future adult life.

We support our pupils, whatever their age, on their journey to be the happiest and most independent adults they can be. We celebrate individuality and foster independence and work closely with families and carers to build strong, supportive communities around our students. The trust is led by a dedicated team of educators, trustees, and governors from a range of backgrounds—including education, finance, HR, and governance. Together, we create schools where autistic children and young people thrive.
