Welcome to our Impact Multi Academy Trust website. I have been Chief Executive of our Trust since January 2021 and in September 2022 I was part of the team that brought together two previous Trusts, to create a stronger family of schools. Prior to joining our Trust, I was a senior civil servant at the Department for Education and before that I worked in local government education services.
I am delighted to be leading a Trust comprised of schools with a shared educational ethos. We aim for everything we do to be grounded in our core values: Ambition, Inclusion, Collaboration and Trust. We are ambitious for every child. We put inclusion at the heart of our practice. We believe that collaborating with and learning from others is crucial to the success of our schools. Finally, we operate on the basis of trust and respect, between all members of our Trust community.
The strength of partnership and teamworking is core to the way we aim to work. This is all supported by a strong and expert central team who work across the Trust, so that Headteachers, teachers and all school-based staff can focus on running great schools.
It is vital to all of us in the Trust that we our schools are all schools that we would be delighted for our own children to attend. At the heart of that, we put our staff first, as this means that we are putting children first. That is because having great teachers in front of every class, led by great leaders, and supported by great support staff, is critical to achieving brilliant outcomes for every child.
We also believe that being a Trust with both primary and secondary schools is an enormous asset, as it enables us to share our expertise and knowledge, learning from each other to improve the education of children from 4 to 18.
We have high aspirations for all the students that attend our Trust Schools and we believe strongly in educating the whole child.
