About Coombe Academy Trust
I am delighted to welcome you to Coombe Academy Trust; an established and growing Multi Academy Trust located in Kingston.
The Trust values of Collaboration, Ambition and Trust inspire us daily to continually build upon the trust ethos of a 'world of opportunity'. Central to all that we do, our moral purpose is founded on the belief that every child and young person has an entitlement to a world of opportunity throughout their years in education and beyond. Coombe endeavours to provide opportunities for all by going that extra mile; from Forest Schools to our Academy of Performing Arts, lives are enriched and horizons broadened. We are proud of how this enrichment is further strengthened through the partnerships within Coombe Alliance, a collaboration with our local cluster schools and with Kings College Wimbledon.
The benefits of our schools working together from nursery through to Sixth form can be seen in our united curriculum principles. An ever increasing number of staff teach across the primary and secondary phase and collaborate on the curriculum learning journeys and cross phase research; this year focusing on Oracy and Feedback.
Our central services provide timely Human Resources, IT, estates and health & safety, data, governance, marketing, operations and finance support whilst our School Improvement team focuses on Continuous Professional Development (CPD), inclusion and School Improvement. All our schools are supported through a termly review led by our Executive Leaders for School Improvement (ELSI) and supported collaboratively by staff from across the Trust. The focus of each review is developed with the senior leadership team of each school. Working collaboratively ensures our schools strive to continually improve and learn from each other.
