Yeoford Primary is an integral part of the community and provides a safe, secure and friendly learning environment for the children of Yeoford and surrounding areas. We also offer comprehensive wrap-around care, with breakfast club running from 8am and a variety of after-school clubs running each day until 5:30pm.

 Importantly, we are a small, rural primary school heralding all of the traditional values that you come to expect, know and love from a Devonshire village setting. Added to this, we’re certainly at the forefront when it comes to the latest teaching methods and styles, providing children with the most up-to-date educational experience; intelligently, but not overbearingly, utilising technology.

 Moreover, our firm belief is that children should look forward to coming to school, which is why we make having fun the key driver in our approach. We like to bring learning to life with lots of hands-on activities, additional trips and experiences and use of our surrounding natural environment; our after-school gardening club is a big hit too!

 Here at Yeoford Primary we’re also a huge advocate of sports, offering weekly sessions from a dedicated sports specialist and multiple inter-school sporting events/tournaments every half-term. Additionally, each half-term we have different sporting clubs happening after school as well.

With our smaller-than-average class sizes that allow for greater adult support, carefully-tailored curriculum and excellent behaviour, we are able to ensure children can be stretched academically and make fantastic progress throughout their primary years.
