What the school offers its staff
Wycombe High School is a outstanding girls’ selective state
academy school in Buckinghamshire. Our staff are professional,
forward-looking and committed. We offer a culture which supports and
energises people to be the best they can be, where staff nurture one
another and share ideas, where work life balance and wellbeing are encouraged
and supported.
We are passionate about single sex education and the
extraordinary benefits it brings to our students.
Mental health and wellbeing are always high on our agenda,
which has been acknowledged by the mental health charity Mind who have awarded
us GOLD in their Wellbeing Index Awards in 2022-2023 and again in 2023-2024 for
'successfully embedding mental health into our policies and practices'.
We are proud of the excellent teaching, care and guidance we
offer, along with excellent facilities and the wide range of opportunities in
and beyond the classroom. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the
