Woodfield Primary is a one-form entry Primary and Nursery school, educating children from 2 – 11 years, in Whitleigh, which is in the northwest of Plymouth.  Being a smaller primary school means all staff are able to get to know the children and develop strong relationships with them.  The relationships that we develop with our parents and the wider community are equally important to us; developing these links and working together helps to support our children to be successful.

Developing our children's confidence and social skills is also a priority and is achieved through the strong focus we have on oracy from the moment a child starts at Woodfield. We begin developing the children’s Oracy skills in Nursery to ensure that they develop the ability and confidence to interact with peers and adults to deepen their learning and understanding.
