About Windrush Church of England Primary School
Windrush CofE Primary school is a new school, which opened in September 2021 on the Windrush Place estate in Witney. Our beautiful building and fantastic facilities make us a special place for children to learn and flourish. We are a very popular school in the heart of a new community and have a strong team who are committed to our vision of ‘Learn, Love and Live Life in all its Fullness’. Our school has a strong culture of aspiration for all where children are inspired and challenged to be the best that they can be. Our Christian ethos supports children’s moral, social and spiritual development and challenges and inspires our children to develop their potential and a strong moral character.
The school is part of River Learning Trust (RLT), a Multi-Academy Trust responsible for a growing number of schools and a school centred initial teacher training (SCITT) provider within Oxfordshire and Swindon.
RLT is committed to the professional learning and development of staff with high-quality training in-school and through the Oxfordshire Teaching Schools Alliance.
