Welcome to Wellington Place Primary School, a new and exciting primary school that is set to be a bright and happy learning hub at the heart of the Wellington Place community. As the Headteacher, I am thrilled to be leading this school on it’s journey to provide every child with an exceptional education and high aspirations for their future.

At Wellington Place Primary School, our vision is to “Learn, Lead, Achieve, Succeed”. This vision will enable our children to make academic progress, engage in a varied and creative curriculum, and develop into confident and well-rounded individuals. Our three core values – Trust, Kindness, and Fairness – are the foundation upon which we build our school community.

At Wellington Place Primary School, we strive to be the happiest school in Leicestershire. We want our children to clearly love learning and come bounding through the school gates every morning, ready for new and exciting challenges, alongside our passionate and dedicated teaching team.
