About Weldon Village Academy
We are delighted to welcome you to Weldon
Village Academy. Located in Weldon, Corby, the brand new
Secondary school opened its doors to Year 7’s in September 2023. At Weldon Village
Academy, we aspire for all students to achieve their full potential, both
academically and as members of society. To support our students understanding
on how to learn and conduct themselves, we refer to The Three C’s as qualities
that students should aspire to. These
are, Caring; students listen, respect, and encourage each other to do their
best. They are kind, tolerant and understanding of each other. Curious; students
are interested in lessons, ask questions, are willing to ‘have a go,’ take
ownership of their learning and always try to improve. Committed; students take
pride in their work, are on time, ready to start quickly, with the right
equipment. They engage in extra-curricular activities and take opportunities to
excel.
At Weldon Village Academy, we value
the success of every child and place the sharing of excellent education
practice at our core. We are committed to improving the quality of education
and life in Weldon to ensure the young adults who leave our care are prepared
for the next stage of their education and are ready and confident to move
